38 Degrees
38 Degrees is a new organisation which brings you together with other people to take action on the issues that matter to you and bring about real change in the UK.
38 Degrees does not back any particular political party. We believe the interests of society as a whole should come before the self-interest of the few, and that long-term thinking should come ahead of short-term fixes. We will act to advance fairness, defend rights, promote peace, preserve the planet and deepen democracy in the UK.
38 Degrees are inspired by how organisations like GetUp.org.au in Australia, Avaaz.org globally and MoveOn.org and BarackObama.com in the USA have made a real impact by providing easy ways for people to take action on the issues they care about.
38 Degrees brings this model of campaigning to the UK and uses the latest technologies to enable people to take action, sometimes online, like a petition or sending an email to your MP or the editor of a local paper; or sometimes offline actions like calling or visiting your MP.
It's free to sign up and to start receiving campaign emails and if you like what we are doing, you can get involved. Change happens when enough people come together. Join 38 Degrees and be part of the avalanche for change.

DisabledGo
The DisabledGo guide is a unique new guide, designed to empower thousands of disabled residents to get out and do what they want to do. The DisabledGo guide will open up this area to residents and visitors.
DisabledGo and various organisations have worked with hundreds of shops, pubs, restaurants, theatres and other public venues so that DisabledGo can provide access details for a huge number of goods and service providers.
This information can make a huge difference for people with hearing, vision or mobility related access concerns. The guide may also be useful for older people and those with pushchairs.
By visiting the web-site people can check, for example, whether a pub is accessible to a wheelchair user, whether a cinema can offer a hearing loop, whether a hotel offers adapted rooms, and whether a restaurant offers menus in large print or Braille.

Vote For A Change
At the next election voters need to know that they have the power to vote for real change.
Politicians have let us down. They've abused their power for too long - it's time for a change.
The only way we're going to make politicans understand their responsibilities to the people they represent is to make them more accountable at elections. It's time to kick out the antiquated way of doing things that has allowed them to get away with so much and bring in a new style of elections where every single vote counts.
The majority of the people in this country don't have a politican who represents them. It's time for that to change.
Support our efforts to get the Government to announce a referendum on electoral reform before the next General Election. We need to restore faith in our politicians and our politics, otherwise it all goes downhill from here.
